Our wall clocks are perfect for helping children learn to tell the time at home and at school. As the perfect addition to your child’s bedside table, EasyRead alarm clocks have a night-light that stays on all night and a crescendo alarm, which starts with a gentle beep and gets progressively more urgent until it is turned off.
Clear designs and simple teaching methods make it easy for children to learn the time in terms of ‘minutes past and to’ the hour or ’12 /24 hour’ time. Teach your children using our straightforward system and they will quickly master this essential life skill.

If you express the time as “8 minutes to 2” teach your child the past/to method.
- Read the number at the end of the long hand.
- Say which side the long hand is pointing to (past or to).
- Read the number of the end of the short hand.
12/24hr Method
If you’re more familiar with saying “One Fifty Two” teach your child the 24 hour method.
- Read the number at the end of the short hand.
- Read the number at the end of the long hand.

Are the wall and alarm clocks silent?
The clock mechanisms are silent, so there is no annoying ticking. This makes the clocks ideal for bedrooms, kitchens and the classroom.

Do the wall clocks glow in the dark?
No, the wall clocks are not luminescent.

What type of batteries do the clocks use and are they included?
The wall clocks use 1x AA battery, whilst the alarm clocks use 3x strong Alkaline AA batteries. These are not included with the clocks. Please note: We do not recommend using rechargeable batteries in the alarm clocks.

How do I set the alarm on my EasyRead Alarm Clock?
There's an easy to use knob on the back of the clock to set the alarm - turn this anti-clockwise. This should ensure that your alarm clock goes off at the required time.

I have put a EasyRead Time Teacher clock in each classroom.
Not only can the children use them really effectively but they also look great. As a specialist provision it was really important that the clocks did not look childish. These clocks were better than I originally thought.

Fantastic product.
