Easy to read clock dials
EasyRead Alarm Clocks are the perfect addition to your child’s bedside table. Our alarm clocks have an LED night light and a crescendo alarm, which starts with a gentle beep and gets progressively more urgent until it’s turned off. Pressing the Snooze button disables the alarm for 5 minutes and makes the clock face glow brighter for a few seconds. The built-in light sensor controls the brightness of the clock face, which glows gently all night. Or, if you prefer, you can turn the night light off. Best of all, the silent sweep movement means there is no annoying ticking!

So pretty and colourful! Love the big numbers and the way each minute interval is wide. I was hoping for a switch so that the light would stay on all the time because it doesn’t come on until really dark and in dim light you can’t see it … so I’ve jammed something in so it is always on now. Also, the clear plastic face is flat, not curved as often, so that reflections interfere with seeing the dial. I should also say, I’m a pensioner and got it because I love colour to go with my kitchen, and big numbers so I can see it across the space. I want the watch!

Such a great clock. I purchased for my daughter who is learning to tell the time. The past/to concept has made the learning process so easy!
I will be purchasing for my other kids when they reach an appropriate age too.

Clock looks lovely, but it was purchased as an alarm clock. It seems that the alarm hand can move to any time at all. But the alarm will sound whenever the hour hand is within the selected hour. So you can’t set it for any time, eg 6.15 or 6.30 or 6.49 etc. You can only set it on the hour, eg 6.00 or 7.00. Plus, it will continue to sound throughout that hour. You can hit the snooze button, and you can turn the alarm switch off, but then, it’s not set for next time unless you turn the alarm switch on… after 7.00. Immensely frustrating for my 6 year old who was looking forward to having some independence in the morning, whilst also learning how to tell the time. It’s a great-looking clock, but no use!!

Dear Clare
I’m sorry it has taken me until now to see your review of our alarm clock. Also I’m sorry to hear that it’s not working as it should. Would you like to try another one? It sounds like there’s something wrong with the sensitivity of the alarm mechanism. It’s true that there is usually some tolerance on the time the alarm goes off – e.g. if you set it at 7.30, it’s hard to be exact about the time and the alarm might go off a few minutes before or after. But it shouldn’t have such a wide tolerance, ie. a whole hour as you’re describing. We’ll be happy to replace it for you. I’ve found your order and I can see you bought the clock on 19 October. We’ll send another clock to the same address today – hopefully you have more joy with the new one.
kind regards
Sue Shackleton

Great alarm clock, bought as a present alongside a watch for 6 year old granddaughter. She picked up telling the time so quickly and was delighted with the clock. It was great to have both with the same style face. The light works well and she is a happy girl. Thank you
