My son has struggled for so many years to tell the time and particularly struggled with ‘past’ and ‘to’ method which is how we teach children. My son just couldn’t get it. He also struggled with time awareness both due to dyslexia. This watch taught him to just say the hour and then say the minutes. Eg. 1:40 rather than 20 to 2. He can now tell the time and is much more time aware. Amazing! Plus now he Even uses the 24 hour clock and understands it with confidence with the use of this watch which is so important for such things as bus timetables and flights. He Will always struggle with time but with the watch he can tell the time. It’s easy to give a child a digital watch but it doesn’t help the j derstanding nor time awareness. This watch doesn’t look like a child’s watch either, quite grown up in fact which is a bonus for my 11 year old who is just about to start senior school.
